March is Women’s History Month. Let’s celebrate women by posting comments about women’s issues. Let’s hear your opinions. We would like to start by introducing to you women from our community who we are honoring this month as examples of achievement and success.
Our first honoree is Ann Killets from The School District of Palm Beach County.
Our second honoree is Mrs. Lisl (Alice) Bogart. Lisl is a Survivor of the Theresiendstadt Concentration Camp in what is now known as the Czech Republic. Then it was known as Czechoslovakia. She was imprisoned with her parents and brother and was the only one left alive after World War II and the Holocaust. She was imprisoned because she was Jewish. Mrs. Bogart is a champion of human rights and believes that by telling her story children will know about the Holocaust and the great tragedy it had upon the world. She does not want people to forget and so tells her story in South Florida and the rest of the company. She has even been honored with the keys to the city of ___________.
