Letter From the Principal

Dear Students and Parents,

Happy Holidays,

I wish everyone the most joyful and happiest of holidays. It is such a pleasure to have all of your children here every day.  The students are energetic, happy, and great.  I am very thankful for the students, their families and the wonderful staff at Palm Springs Middle School. All of us work together as a family to help the students in their academic achievement and growth during their middle school years.

I would like to take this opportunity to say how important it is for students to attend school every day. Because of the rigor in the classrooms, it is difficult when students miss even one class. Parents, I am making a plea to you to ensure that your child is in school every day. Please remember if your child is absent, you must write a note that the student takes to the grade level for the absence to be excused. Thank you for your cooperation and attention to this. Attendance in school must be a priority for the students and their families.

There are many wonderful holiday performances scheduled in the next two weeks by our music students.  Please look at the calendar in this newspaper for a schedule of events.

Sincerely,

Sandra M. Jinks, Principal

“The Very Proud Principal of Palm Springs Middle School”
