See Something, Say Something

Oftentimes one student’s wrong choice affects our whole learning environment. We have to work together as a community to stop that from happening. That’s why we use the School District app www.studentprotectionapp.com. Load the app, and then select our school, and when you see something you know is not right, report it by selecting a category of concerns. Some of the concerns might be bullying, threatening behavior, or someone destroying property. One thing you don’t need to worry about is that anybody who has the app has a choice to be totally anonymous when reporting threats and suspicious activity. In an emergency, users may instantly call 911, and the app sends your exact location to law enforcement.

If anything does ever happen at our school, the first thing you need to do is stay calm, and then  report the problem on the app. Take a look at the video above. Ms. Egan’s art students’ works of art decorate our hallways, explaining the process for See Something, Say Something! Darlene M.
