Ms. Elliot-Cora and her TOP class visited the Big Dog Ranch in Loxahatchee last Saturday. They were taught how to hold a puppy and they also learned about adoption. The students helped out by washing the dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and grooming them. They were excited to take a tour around the no kill shelter, which used to be a shelter for wild animals.

Mr.Weagle also has a TOP class, and they are working on helping the homeless and looking forward to perhaps eating lunch with the homeless and giving them simple necessities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, towels, canned and boxed food, peanut butter and jelly, bread, and toiletries.

TOP stands for Teen Outreach Program, and the organization helps teens work on respect, self-esteem, and community responsibility. Caitlyn D.
