The local chapter of  American Culinary Federation held the monthly meeting at South Tech Culinary Academy in Boynton  Beach.  The education portion of the meeting was presented by South Tech Literacy Coach Tina De La Fay on Scholarship writing. All attendees got a fantastic presentation on how to earn scholarship money.  At Culinary meetings you have to have food and there was plenty of it. Thanks to the leadership of Chef Glen from Delaire  Country Club, Chef Suarez from Lake Worth High school, Chef Nancy from West Boca High school, Chef  Joaquin from Lincoln Culinary school and Chef Apple man from Swiss Chalet Fine Foods. Student got to work alongside and learn from the best. The pluttera of sausages included smoked Kielbasa, Andouille, Bratwurst and Duck sausage. The crusty French bread to accompany the sausage was created by the South Tech Culinary Students.  Guest commented about the best apple tarts created by Chef Appleman.  The delicious empanadas created under the leadership of Chef Suarez kept people going back for more. Chef Joaquin and his team created a succulent barbecue pork shoulder. Sushi Tuna was on the menu and beautiful presented from the students of West Boca High school.  Such undertaking is only possible with the support of the ACF chapter local suppliers such as Scalisi Produce, Sysco Food service,Nina Gabrielle of Executive Consultants for Food and Beverage, INC and the Chefs and Students hard work.
