Guess What

There are two parts to this blog post (part A & B).
Part A:
Without reading the story, write down what’s happening in the photo, what happened during the game, and who won. Make an inference/prediction.

    Part A- I think in the photo that the blue team is about to make a basket while the white team is trying to block. I predict that the blue team will win!

    Part B- My predictions were correct! The blue team(Dwyer) won the game(13-1).

    Part A:
    In this photo, a game of girls basketball is taking place. The green and orange jerseys are trying to block a blue jersey from shooting into the basket. During the game, a lot of trial and error took place concerning the baskets, and whether or not they made the ball into the basket and scored a point. I predict that the blue jerseys ended up winning the game. This is because the orange and green jerseys are bunching together around the one blue player, instead of spreading out and waiting for the ball to be passed.

    Part B:
    My prediction was correct, the blue jerseys, (The Dwyers) ended up winning the game aganist the orange and green jerseys, (The Blanche Elys.)

    I like your descriptions but you accidently wrote the wrong team. See at first the Dwyers deafeated the Blanche Elys but who the Dwyers are playing in this game are the Tigers I believe.

    Part A-I think that the blue team won the game. The white team tried to bock the shot by crowding around one of the other teams players. The blue team probably made the shot but I don’t know for sure.

    Part B- my prediction was correct the blue team won the game.

    part a- I think it’s a basketball game and the people in white and orange are winning but the person in blue is trying to score but the other player is trying to block the shot. I think the person in white and orange will win.

    Part b- I was wrong and right about my prediction. It was a basketball game but the orange team didn’t win.

    part A: The girl who has the ball in her hand her ream is wining in the photo the other girl on the other team is tiring to knock the ball off her hand before she shoots.

    part B I was correct the girl in the blue team won.

    Part A

    *What: In this photo, a player from the OWLS is about to make a score for their team,but players from the TIGERS are holding him/her back.

    *During the game: TIGERS are losing the game with one point and the OWLS are about to get a point.

    *Who won: The OWLS won! In the picture it shows that the TIGERS have 1 point.

    Part B

    *My predictions are incorrect. TIGERS won the game. They unexpectedly made 10 extra points and took the lead!

    Part A) In this photo, I think that the girl on the blue team is going for a layup and someone on the white team is fouling her. I think that both teams played a good game but I think that the blue team won
    Part B) My prediction was correct. Dwyer won the basketball game 45-31 leading them to a 13-1 record

    Part A- From the picture I can tell that the blue team is about to make a basket. I predict that the blue team won the basketball game.

    Part B- My prediction was correct. The blue team (the Dwyers) won the game. (13-1)

    Part A: My inference on the picture is that the team that is scoring has won the game with good teamwork and strength. Number 32 (Dywer/ Blue) has the ball and is driving up to the basket to probably make the game winning shot.

    Part B: My prediction was wrong. Dwyer had gain a strong lead against Blanche Ely in the early stages of the game. Dwyer proved to be the stronger team in this match against Blanche Ely ,but this doesn’t guarantee them a spot in the semi-finals. Every game has to be won with 110% effort. With a record of 13-1, Dwyer has been one of the powerhouse teams in their division. Blanche Ely has the record of 4-5 and has to earn another win to has their playoff hopes alive. This match between Dwyer and Blanche Ely was a deal breaker to show off your toughness mentally, physically, and on the court.

    Part A: I think what is happening in the photo is a blue team player is trying to make a shot but the white team players are trying to block her. I think she makes the shot and the blue team wins.

    Part B: My prediction was correct, the blue team beat the white team and won the game.

    Part A : In this picture a girls basketball team wearing the navy colored jersey is about to make a hoop. This picture takes place in a gym during the 1st period. The other team wearing orange and green is trying to defend their net. However my prediction is that the other team wearing the navy succeeded and won the game.

    Part B : My hypothesis was supported the team wearing the navy jersey ( The Dwyers ) took the victory against the orange and green team ( The Blanche Elys ).

    I think the blue team is going to win because of their game faces and their focus on the game. I think the blue team is trying to shoot the ball and the white team is trying to block it.

    My prediction was correct! The Dwyer team won 13-1.

    Part A:
    Pictured in the photo is a girl’s basketball game. The blue team’s player, number 32, is attempting to score a basket, while the white team tries to prevent the opposing team from scoring. I assume the blue team won because of the hustle shown by the shooter in the picture, so likewise her team members would show the same qualities. During the game I can infer that lots of aggresiveness was shown and that the action was consecutive.

    Part B:
    My inference was correct, The Dwyer Panthers (in blue) won the game against the Boynton Beach Tigers (in white.)

    Part 1- I think the Blue team is trying to make shot but the white team is blocking. I think they made the shot. I guess that the Blue team won.

    Part-1 In this picture a girls basketball game is taking place.The girl in the navy blue jersey is trying to shoot a basket while the white team is trying to block her shot.Showing from the picture I think it was a very well fought match up.My inference is that the navy blue won.

    Part-2 My inference was right the navy blue team (Dwyer) won the game 45-31.

    I think the blue team is winning and trying to make their final
    shot but the white team is doing there best to block their shot, but the blue team makes the shot and gets it, then they win the game.

    Part B:
    My prediction was correct, the Dwyer Panthers won the game that they played against the Boynton Beach Tigers.

    I think that in the game two teams are playing basketball. It looks like the Dwyers are winning.

    Part B:
    I was correct. The Dwyers were playing against the Tigers and the Dwyers won.

    Part A:
    In this game of girls basketball, I believe the blue team is trying to make a comeback. In this photo the blue team is trying to score with a basket, but the white team is trying to contain their lead by blocking the shot. During the game I am sure a lot of this situation happened. My prediction is that this was a tough game, but the blue team came out on top. What made me think this is the look all of their faces had looked like they were playing to the best of their abilities.
    Part B:
    My predictions were right, the blue team won! Also they made a comeback, but it was a very close game. All of the girls did play to the best of their abilities.

    Part A: In this photo I see basketball teams (The Dwyer Panthers ) and the (The Ely Tigers ).The Dwyers are trying to make it in to the basket while The Ely Tigers are trying to block him . I think The Dwyers are going to win are going to win because the are shooting the ball to make the ball into basket . That is my prediction we are going to see if it is right .

    Part B: My prediction was correct The Dwyer won the score was (13-1) . The Dwyers Panthers advance to a Thursday semifinal against Miami.

    My prediction of what is happening in the picture is that the blue team is trying to score. I think they are trying to make a comeback while the white team is trying to block the shot. The white team has a very good defense, but is no macho for the blue team. Yes I think that the blue team won

    My prediction was correct the blue team did win. the picture told me it was a very intense game the white team did really well and very close to winning

    My prediction of what is happening is that the team in the blue is trying to make a layup and the team in the white is trying to block the shot. I think the blue team will win.

    Part b
    My prediction that the blue team would win was right the final score was 13 to 1. Good game for both teams.

    Part A:
    The picture shows girls basketball game. I think the girl in the blue jersey is winning because the other team looks like they really dont want her to make a basket. While the girls in the white jersey are trying to make a come back to beat the blue jersey team.this game seems very intense almost as if the scores are very close and time is running out but as always one team has to win.

    Part B:
    My prediction was correct Dwyer beat the tigers 13-1! You can definatly tell that Dwyer is a very strong team.

    Part A: In this picture, a player from the Dwyers is trying to pass but the players on the Lady Tigers are trying to block her (because most of the people there are women). In that case, I think that the Dwyers are going to win because if you look at the scoreboard in the back, it shows that it’s only the first quarter and the Dwyers have already scored.

    Part B: I was right, because when i read the article it said that the Dwyers and the Tigers are girl teams and that the Dwyers moved on to the next competition, meaning that they won.

    My prediction of what is happening in the photo is the girls in the green and white jersey try to block the girl in the blue jersey.The girl in th blue is trying to make a shot and in the end wins.
    Part B:

    Part A: In this picture, there is two different teams, one in a blue jersey and one in a orange and green jersey, about 3 players in green and orange surrounding the one player in blue. I think that the player in the blue jerseys team won because three people couldnt stop one person making a dunk.

    Part B: My prediction was correct, Dwyers’ team (Blue Jerseys) had won 13-1. At first, it was tough to make a prediction because in the picture, I saw the opposing team surrounding Dwyer and I thought that she was doomed, but then I saw the girls hand miss the basketball Dwyer was holding and I made my decision.

    Part A:
    My prediction is that the blue time is trying to make a basket. As there tring to do that the white team is tring to blocck it so they can get the ball. I believe the blue team will win.
    Part B:
    My prediction was right the blue team did win the game the score was 13-1.

    Part A- In the picture I see the navy blue team- The Dwyer Panthers going for the shot, while the white team- The Ely Tigers trying to block the blue team; though it seems to me that they fouled. I think that the Dwyer Panthers are going to win because they are going for the shot and look like they were really playing their best.
    Part B- My prediction was correct. The Dwyer Panthers creamed the Ely Tigers, ( 13-1)! Now the Dwyer Tigers are going to the semifinals against Miami.

    From the photo I think two girls basketball teams are battling hard to try and win the game. I think in the photo one girl is being fouled while trying to make the shot. I think it was a close game the entire time it was played and that score was going back and forth the in the game think that a lot of fouls were committed due to the aggressiveness of the players. I think that the blue team won by just a couple of points.

    Part B
    No they were not correct because what had happened in the photo was Kiandra Bowers was battling her way to try and get a shot on basket. And also in was not a close game the entire time but each team had their moments. But I was right that the blue team would win but I was incorrect by how much they would win by because they won by almost 15 points with a score of 45-31.

    Part A- In the photo above there is a girls basketball game going on. I think the person on the blue team is trying to get the rebound so her team could win. I think this was a close game to the very end but the blue team won.

    Part B- My predictions were correct. The blue team (Dwyer) beat the white team (Blanche Ely). Dwyer won 45-31. My other prediction was correct. This was a close game until there was about 5 minutes left in the fourth quatrer.

I think that the Owls beat the Lady Tigers because in the picture, it shows three Lady Tigers defending one Owl. This shows that the Owls were playing with intensity. Because of this, I think that the Owls won easily.
    Part B-
    My prediction was correct. The Owls (Dwyer), beat the Lady Tigers (Blanche Ely). The score was 45-31, a fourteen point game. This proves that the Owls won easily.

    PART A: In the photo, the girl from the blue team is driving to the basket trying to make a lay-up. During the game it was probably a hard fought match between the two teams trying to win the basketball game. I expect that the blue team won.

    PART B: My prediction was correct! The blue team (Dwyer), delivered a harsh win against rivalry team, The Tigers.

    Part A- The photo shows a basketball game between two woman basketball teams and one of the women is about to score for her team. I think that in the game the blue team played more aggressively and not so much for fun because of the look on the woman’s face as she was trying to score a point for her team. Due to the fact that the blue team is about to score I predict that the blue jersey team will win.
    Part B- My prediction about who would the game was correct the blue team or “Dwyer” won the game.

    Part B-my prediction was correct! This team proved to be better than the other team and won!

    My prediction was correct, the blue team won. I was wrong when I thought it was a tie.

    My prediction was correct the owls won.

    I think that the photo shows a girl’s basketball game, the green team is losing to the dark blue team, thats why theres so many green members around that one blue member. I predict that the blue team won.

    The picture is a girl basketball game. I think the Owls (the blue team) are the visitors and are winning. The Lady Tigers are home and loosing. The picture shows one of the girls of the Owls is making a shot, while the girl from the Lady Tigers is getting a foul for blocking the girls face.

    My prediction was, correct Dwyer (Owls) won against the Lady Tigers the score was 45-31. The girl from the Lady Tigers did not get a foul.

    Part A~
    A Basketball game is taking place between Blue and Yellow. Blue is heading for a basket and makes it! During the game they will fight for the win. But only one will make it. Blue wins!

    Part B~
    My predictions were correct on the Blue team winning.

    In this photo a womens basketball game is in session. The blue team is trying to score a point by slam dunking the ball. This is not so easy because the white team is trying to get a hand on the ball to try and stop the ball from going through the net. The blue and white team are almost face to face but the blue team has a hand free and ready to dunk the ball. Durring the game both teams are trying to score as many points as possible. It is going on and on till the end of the game when the final buzzer blows. I predict that that blue team will win because she is putting all her heart into getting the points.

    Part B: My prediction was right the blue team (Dwyers) won and they held a good lead of 14 points. The game ended with a score of 45-31.

    Part A- I think the picture is about women playing basketball. The woman that plays for the Owls went up against three defenders. That shows to me that the Owls really want to win and I think they did.

    Part B- I was right the Owls did win 45 to 31 that proved that the Owls wanted to win.

    Part A: I predict/infer that the girl with the ball (on the blue team) is winning and she is right about to make the winning shot before the time goes out but, the white team of course is trying to block the shot, But in the end the blue team wins!…

    Part B: My prediction/inference was correct the blue team (Tigers) beat the white team (owls) by 14 points ahead (45 to 31, 45-31)

    Part A: I think the blue team will win because her face looks like she is about to make the winning shot. The white team looks like they are trying to prevent the blue team from winning by grouping in on her.
    Part B: My prediction was correct the blue team won!

    Part B- My prediction was correct. The blue team (The Dwyers) won against the white team (The Blanche Elys). They beat them by a fourteen point lead! The score was 45-31. To conclude, the Dwyers beat them easily

When a girl is going in for a dunk she is getting fouled because as you see the girl on the Lady Tigers hits her arm on the other girls chest.And my prediction is that I think the Owls will win Because the lady in the picture looks much stronger than the other girls and I think that most of the other girls are like that to.

    Part A: In this photo, their is a basketball game taking place. I predict, the green and orange team lost the game, whiles the blue jerseys team won the game. The orange and green jersey team were bucnhing up around the blue jersey teammate instead of spreading up. That caused the green and orange to loose the game. Also in this photo the blue jersey team is shooting a basket whiles the green and orange are struggling to not let the blue jersey team score.

    Part A- My interpretation of this picture is that the girl in the blue is about to make a layup but is fouled by the girl with her hand in the other girls face. Also seeing that it took three girls from the Lady Tigers to stop one girl on the Dwyers. I think the Dwyers had a fairly easy game.

    Part B- I was correct about the Dwyers having an easy game finishing with a score of 45-31 and a 14 point lead.

    PART B: My prediction was incorrect. The article was about the Owls(Dwyer), beat the Lady Tiger(Blanche Ely). So they beat them 45-31.

    Part A: I inferred that; what it seems to be that the Ely Tigers are pulling down Kiandra Bowers from the Dwyer Panthers. It look like the Ely Tigers won.

    Part B: My inferrence was wrong. The Ely Tigers were close to winning but they didn’t win. The game was 45-31. The Dwyer Panthers had won.

    In this picture it shows that there are women that are playing an women’s basketball game the teams are the owls and the Lady Tigers.The home which is either one has gotten four fouls and one point.Since the lady tigers defense is so bad that they cannot cover one lady on the owls. The owls will probably win because of the there good def the owls should shoot enough 2 to 3 pt shots and get through the Lady Tigers defense to win.

    Prediction: They played in Hollywood and Vs the Lady Tigers the lady tigers played very defensively but it was not enough to put enough points to pass the Owls after reading through the paragraph of the Women’s basketball game the owls were (The Dwyer’s). About the game my prediction was right the Dwyers beat the Lady Tigers by a (45- 31) score. This was true that the Dwyers won.They did not win easily because they only have the lead by 11 points.

    Part A- In the photo, what’s happening is that a girl is trying to shoot a basket in a basketball game, with one girl trying to block her from trying to make a shoot, and the girl who is blocking the girl trying to shoot the basket has two of her teammates behind her. What happened during the game was dribbling and just trying to shoot the ball in the basket. I think that the blue team won because they are shooting a basket in the picture, and because they blue team are not to be found in the picture so they are probably separated, not like the white team, that are squished together.
    Part B- My prediction was correct, the Dwayer Panthers ( in the blue shirts) won the game.
