Possible Mudslides in California

Since we are studying erosion and “mass movements” in Integrated this week, I found this really interesting article about possible mudslides in California.

Mudslides are caused when water from rainfall loosens soil and causes it to move en mass from one location to another. In the past, there have actually been mudslides that have caused devastating damage to communities. Read this article

Science, Technology and Twitter!

This will be my first content-related post on the blog! WOO HOO!

As you review the layout of our blog, you will notice that there is a “Twitter Feed” included. As many of the students recall, we followed NASA on twitter (@nasa) during the launch of the Hubble as well as subsequent launches.
