Why won’t ketchup come out of the bottle?!?!

Ever wonder why ketchup won’t come out of the bottle when you turn it and hit the bottom? Well, simply put, ketchup is what is called a “non newtonian liquid”. This means that it can act like both a solid and a liquid!

When you hit the bottom of the bottle, only ketchup at the bottom of the bottle turns into a liquid! What’s the secret? Simply tap the neck of the bottle!
