Hello! Welcome to Mr. Woods’ blog! Mr. Woods is a high school special education teacher in Palm Beach County, FL. He currently co-teaches Integrated Science and Biology. He started teaching in 1992 and is most proud of his accomplishments as a class sponsor for the classes of 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004…and currently, the graduating class of 2012.
Mr. Woods received the 2004 William Dwyer Award for Excellence in Education (Special Programs) and the 2005 Special Olympics “New Coach of the Year” award. He is a life-long resident of Palm Beach County….but has spent the past 15 summers volunteering in Georgia at a camp for children who are deaf and hard of Hearing (Camp Juliena) www.gachi.org
