This will be my first content-related post on the blog! WOO HOO!

As you review the layout of our blog, you will notice that there is a “Twitter Feed” included. As many of the students recall, we followed NASA on twitter (@nasa) during the launch of the Hubble as well as subsequent launches.

Twitter allows us to interactively discuss what is happening in the world of science. While the feed is not completely up-and-running, you can follow YOUR class via twitter by following our class. Our class’ Twitter name is @MrWoodsClassFL

So….I have been trying to get our class blog up and running. Today is my birthday, and I am spending it trying to get some work done — teachers live such an exciting life!

Our new class blog will have a whole lot of neat features. One of them is “Twitter Updates”. You will be able to use twitter to follow what is going on in class. I will RT (retweet cool, educational-related stuff).

I’m having a few glitches, so I think I will call it a night and try again tomorrow! I guess I have a little more to learn.
