Wellington Landings Middle School is located in Wellington, Florida.  Lynn Pernezny has been at Landings for 13 years, teaching chorus, handbells, and general music.  She received her bachelor’s degree in music from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, and has a master’s degree in music history from the Ohio State University.  Because it took her a long time to decide what she wanted to do when she grew up, she also has a master’s in business administration from the University of Miami.  Her husband is a plant pathologist (which means he works with sick plants), her son is an environmental engineer, and her daughter is a student at PBSC and works for the state attorney’s office.  In her spare time, she loves to play tennis (even though she isn’t very good), cook and collect cookbooks, and read just about any book she can get her hands on!
