What is your favorite book?
Crestwood is a reading school. Please let me know the name of your favorite book you have checked out of the media center this year. Maybe it was a Sunshine book, a series book or one of the new arrivals. Why would you recommend this book to other students.

I am a big fan of the Twilight series. I have been trying to finish the last book!
I am a big fan of the Harry Potter series — and love all things Harry Potter. This series (Twilight) was recommended by a student — so I thought I would try it out. Parts of the 2nd book are a little “slow”, but it is a great read.

I really liked The City of Ember Series. I read it before the movie came out, and the movie ruined it. Make sure you read the book, not watch the movie!

Nicole, I try to keep up buying the next book of a series. Sometimes they slip by me, so if you know of one in your favorite series that I don’t have let me know.

I wish I had more time to read but I really enjoyed Adriana Trigiani’s trilogy, (BIG STONE GAP, LUCIA, LUCIA and ROCOCO) with Rococo being my favorite. I also enjoyed A Long Way Down By Nick Hornby.
I have started downloading books from the library into my ipod so now I get to enjoy books all year and not just during summer vacation.

I love many books. As soon as i come home i go up to my room and read. My favorite books are fictional books and the media center has a great deal of them. I would say that my favorite books are the dragon slippers series because they are so cool. You never know what to expect when you turn the page!!!!!!!! One thong that i suggest for the media center is to get more of the classics book such as Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm, and The old man and the sea. Please reply back and KEEP READING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did not realize another Maximum Ride book had come out? I will look for it at and get it in the media center as soon as I can. Mrs. Stairs and I try to keep up with new releases but I need your help sometimes to tell me a new book is coming out. I love it when students let me know when a book is coming out, it tells me they are life long readers and love to follow their favorite authors.

Not your fault. That happens all the time. As soon as I place an order I find other books I should have ordered. I already have a list of 10 books that we need to order. It is hard to keep up. Our school is such a reading school, I love it when our students ask for books. I know they are reading.

I also LOVE Twilight and Harry Potter! They are great books! I love Harry Potter because impossible things happen in each of the books! I love Twilight because of the odd romance of a vampire and a human. I am currently on Breaking Dawn and I loved it since the first page! Great recreational reading books! Check them out and see what everyone’s talking about! J.K Rowling is my favorite author and Stephiene Meyer is my second favorite! Check these books out, you won’t regret it!

J.K Rowling is probably one of the most amazing writers in modern times. Her Harry Potter series has been responsible for so many young people starting to read books because they want to, not because they have to.
