A Place to Learn and Share
The Secret Life of Scientists is a web-based program that brings real-world scientists into a different, more personal light. According to the site, even Einstein had a secret life (can you find out what he liked to do?). Below, check out the video of Erika Ebbel, a biochemist. You can also read her blog. Erika is not only a biochemist but she’s also a Beauty Pageant Queen who talks about “butt glue” on her page. Read about Erika on her site and you’ll see that “butt glue” was the most annoying thing about Pagentry. Wow! Who knew that biochemists have time for such things?
I really enjoy reading this blog. I have a son in 4th grade and whenever I come across something interesting I share it with him. I did not know about “The Secret Life of Scientists” and because of this I now do and so does my son. Thank you.

It was a very interesting and cool video!
Thanks for putting up the video on Huntington’s. My sister is suffering from it. The more people are made aware of the disease, the faster a treatment will come. The first of every month is “Wear Blue for Huntington’s.”
I was assigned to read this post for my EDM 310 class at the University of South Alabama. Thanks for posting this information about The Secret Life of a Scientist. I never thought about scientists having a life beyond science. Now I’m off to learn about Butt Glue!
