Invention Project Quiz- Essay

We had many different ideas when we were trying to figure out about what type of invention we should create.  We wanted to do different things it was really difficult to agree in things but we finally go it.  Are group decided to make an invention about gum that makes you flexible and hyper. We call it FLEXI-HYPE!

Are invention makes you every flexible and hyper. What it does is that when you chew it the juice goes in to your muscle and makes you flexible. So let’s say you can’t do a type of move that involves you being flexible well you just put the gum in your mouth and a few minutes later you become flexible in an instant.

we came up with this idea because we were talking about ballet and gymnastics and we were saying what if we make some so you can be flexible in dance or gym so we were thinking of a bunch of things and we came up with gum because you can just chew it when you want to be flexible and spit it out when you don’t want to be flexible.  Well to create the thumbnail we first but some people doing flexible things and writing a description about our invention it wasn’t really hard it just came to our minds. On the poster there are girls doing jumps and in big letters saying FLEXI-HYPE in tie-dye. On our poster it says it’s a one of a kind with one side you become flexible like you had no bones but the other side makes you hyper and wild that you almost never run out so next time you are at the super market buy FLEXI-HYPE.

Our script was about to kids that can’t be fixable and try but then two people come up and tell them to try FLXI-HYPE and they try it. A few minutes pass and they become very Flexible and Hyper.

Some problems that we encountered were that some people couldn’t do flexible thing but we figured it out.

We have learned to work as a team and we can get everything done if we agree in things. This project was fun and I am looking forward to more team working projects.

As we sat down as a group we didn’t know what our invention should be.  It all started when Gavin went to the nurse and needed a band-aid. Then Evan came up with the idea of the boo-boo fixer. We had a lot of fun making the video and the poster. We thought it was the best idea.

Our invention is the boo-boo fixer. The boo-boo fixer is a band-aid that you put on a cut and it goes away in two minutes. Most people think that their cuts are embarrassing, so if you use the boo-boo fixer it will be gone in very short notice.

We came up with the invention when Gavin got a caught from Austin and went to the nurse and ended up coming back with a band-aid. Evan then came up with the boo-boo fixer. We thought it was a very good idea so it stuck.

Brainstorming the idea I thought was the easiest part. It was very simple. The thumbnail sketch was also pretty easy because we just wrote the basic information about it and drew a band-aid. In  the thumbnail we didn’t put a lot of colors and detail but it was still good. Then the actual poster was almost the same as the thumbnail but more colorful and bigger. Our poster came out amazing.

Our script was short and explanatory. We did followed the script very well in the video.  The script just said what each of our parts were and what we had to say. In the storyboard it was just stick figures in separate boxes talking to each other (the same words in the script).it was mainly a medium shot.

In the video our main problem was probably having Gavin fall and him not falling in the right spot. But we solved them because we just had to keep trying. But next time we will try to do something not as painful.

In the end I learned that anybody can make an invention and anybody can do what they want to  do.

Period 2

         What is my invention? Well, my group and I chose to make something that was a cheap and easy way to travel, we decided to use Nathans dog tag as the product aka the Super Traveler 3000. We would operate this product by telling it where we want to go. In a flash we would be in our destination.

 We got the idea for this invention because this summer I’m leaving the United States and going across the seas, this is not only a long flight but it is a stressful journey. I think if this invention could actually be built it would save a lot of people there time and money. The invention would cost only $3,000 that’s not that much considering the fact that you could take as many  people you want to anywhere in the world with a small object.

          The first step to creating the invention is to decide who’s going to be in your group, then after decide what each person is going to contribute to the group. When that part is decided you will start writing your script then you shot your video. But make sure that everyone is happy with their parts and is willing to do everything they said they would do. Brainstorming is a very big part of the project. Creating a thumbnail sketch for your poster is another thing that is required. Our teacher wanted us to make a poster/ advertising for the product to sell it. Are script was about friends buying the invention and traveling to new places with their newly bought super traveler 3000. The first sketch for the store bored was us going to Paris. The problems that we had were not having someone to record us. Because we all would be in the video at one time and not have anyone record.

       The end result was inspiring because I never thought that I can do something so well and learn how to edit a good video all in a matter of 2 weeks or less depending on the time you have to complete your video. In conclusion making videos is not as bad as it sounds all you need is time and determination.
