Omni Middle School makes AYP for first time!

Congratulations to our students for giving Mr. D’Aoust, our principal, 3 more…and then some!

Omni Middle School is the only comprehensive (non-magnet) middle school in Palm Beach County to have made Annual Yearly Progress!

Thank you to our teachers and administrators for all their hard work. But most especially, thanks to our students for doing such a great job!

Omni PTSA helps ready the yearbook for distribution

Omni PTSA volunteers help process orders and sort them for sixth period distribution–a task of Herculean proportions.

You can still buy a yearbook! Bring in cash payment (no checks accepted) of $40 to the main office. You can also order online by credit card by going to omnimiddle.org. Scroll down the page to “Cashless Schools” and follow the instructions.

    From the moment my pen touches paper, I unleash power.

    Each word is born in my mind, meticulously chosen,

    So, together, they will be able to transform.


    For, from the pages of the past

    Will rise the foundations of the future.


    Lying in their depths is harnessed energy,

    Just waiting to be released.


    Letters, words, sentences,

    Like rockets on their launch pads,

    Anticipating their liftoff.

    So they can find their targets and use their power

    To bring out smiles in the sullen,

    Induce tears in the immovable,

    Excite the lethargic,

    Calm the angry,

    And remorse to the heartless.


    Changing one person,

    Changing one community,

  • I Am an Artist


    Armed with pens and pencils

    Crayons and markers

    Watercolors, oil pastels, acrylics

    Charcoal and tempera

    I set out on my journey

    Into a different world

    A world where the sky is brilliant shades of blue

    Indigo

    Cobalt

    Cerulean

    All meshing together in a seamless patchwork

    A world where flying horses stampede past

    On wings of flame

    Under a sizzling sun of cornflower yellow

    With the grass like forest green carpet

    Beneath my feet

    A world where logic is overruled by color

    And reason lay pure possibility

    Apples the size of soccer balls

    Hang from giant trees with leaves of polka-dotted pink

    Bubbling rivers in a shade of gold

    Abound with leaping purple goldfish

    A world where time has no jurisdiction

    And limitations make no difference

    A world where I can set my imagination free

    To run wild

    On silver breaths of wind

    I pick up my pencil

    And begin to draw
