The invisilator
At first we didn’t know what to do as an invention, but we finally came to the conclusion that we were going to do an invisibility cloak. It was a simple idea that no one in the class was doing. We made it $999.99 and named it the Invisilator. The poster is a man being scared by an invisible man.

We originally wanted to do a smart watch but then came to the decision that the cloak was better. For the thumbnail we wanted a scary yet invisible figure. We decided that we are going to do a man in the cloak scaring a normal man. We did a poster with the name, Invisilator at the top and right under we did $999.99 with the man in the cloak scaring the other man. We also did a small description on the side.
The script is about three kids that use the cloak to scare their friend. We used a real life situation to advertise the product. The shots we had were Rodrigo and I sitting at a table and Kyle comes up to us to show us the Invisilator. After that we all decide to use the Invisilator to prank Noah. The prank goes great until Noah hears us and steals the Invisilator and runs away with it, being invisible.
When we shot the video we didn’t have many problems except for the group laughing in the middle of shots and having to do it over again. But eventually we were able to do the shots seriously.
What I have learned from the project so far is that people in the group don’t always think the same but, we eventually come to an agreement.

Rodrigo: Hey look what I bought.
Manuel: What?
Rodrigo: The Invisilator.
Manuel: What does it do?
Rodrigo: it makes you…….Invisible

My name is sepand z. and I created the micro zap with my group. The group was Brandon, Corey, Bryan, Carlos and I. we were all brainstorming while thinking about the invention, and then Bryan thought about the micro zap.

        The micro zap is basically a box that has a huge zap button on side of the box. It’s all black and the zap button is purple. We painted it very good and choice the best colors possible.

 It works by writing what you want on a piece of paper what you want to eat, then you open the micro zap and place the piece of paper in the micro zap, you then press zap and whatever you wrote on the piece of paper would appear right before your eyes.

        The difficulties of the project was waiting for the paint to dry and videotaping the project. While videotaping the project we had to retake shots over and over again till we finally got the right shot.

        The poster we made was very nice it was very colorful it had a picture of a hamburger that I made. It was like a McDonald’s big mac but better. I think it would taste good if it was real.

        The micro zap was successful and the project was fine till we left it outside and some kids broke it. But overall we enjoyed working with everyone and had fun.

Joe: Ugh, I’m so hungry. I wish there was a way to get food super quickly.

Salesman: Well look no further! Introducing the Micro-Zap! The micro-zap is a fast way to get your food. Here is how it works. You write what you want on a piece of paper and stick it into the micro-zap. Then, click the ZAP button and its there!

Dwyane: I got my micro-zap and I love it!

Albert: Oh me too! It is amazing!

Joe: Well where can I get one?

Salesman: I happen to have one with me now. Here you go. *gives Joe the micro-zap*

Shavon, Zach, Remy and I got together and decided we wanted to make an invention that teenagers could relate to and actually want to use! (If it existed) After many ideas, we came to the conclusion that we were going to use the invention “The Smart Pill.” This is a regular pill except it has an interesting use. After you take it, you’re instantly smart and you can ace any test! We thought it would be a great idea to invent something that was useful, easy, and students will want. We created a poster to show before you take the smart pill and it’s results.

    Then, we wrote a script for our video. I was the buyer of the pill and the student. Remy was the other student and Zach was the teacher/pharmacist. Casey went to the drug store to buy a pill that will help her pass her test. The pharmacist (Zach) gave her a pill that would help her. The next day in school, Casey took “The Smart Pill” and aced her test. Remy of course asked her for one, and she refused to give him one, telling him to “leave her alone.”
 

     For our storyboard, we chose to do shots for the pharmacist (Zach) giving the pill to Casey (the student), Casey taking the test and acing it, and Remy getting rejected. We did the main parts of the video and we also wanted to follow the script.

    In all, it was a good experience and we had a lot of fun! We had a lot of trial and error with making the video. It took us a while to get it right.

Invention Essay
Our invention is insta-abs.
We created it because its hard and takes a while to get a six-pack.
Its wasn’t that hard to think of were lazy and we wanted six packs.
The thumbnail was easy we drew a seringe and a stick figure.
Someone would buy it because who doesn’t want a six-pack. The cost is $600.
Our script was about a ripped guy who has a pale friend who wants a 6-pack. So the ripped guy brings him to a doctor who gives him a shot that gives him a 6-pack. He needed a 6-pack so he could go to the tool convention with his swole friend.
Our sketches were the before where he is flat chested. Then it shows during the surgery with the injection. Then it shoes the end results with his brand new 6-pack set of abs.
The problem we had with our video was we kept repeating words or scenes or messing up a high five or something stupid. We also had some mix-ups with our lines. What we would do next time is make sure we don’t repeat any lines or scenes and make sure we remember our lines perfectly. To solve the problems we just kept trying until we got it right.
What we learned from the project is some lazy people use surgery to get what other people achieve by hard work and determinations with a shot and money. Money makes the world go round.

      My group is creating a device called Tele Reality. We have all agreed that this is a very good idea. We are currently working on the video. Me, Liudvikas, and Steven created a really cool poster. We already created a script. So now we are rehearsing the script.

Invention Essay

Me and Jack .E worked as a team to create an idea by looking for objects in the room to see if it’s eligible. We both had a hard time agreeing on one thing, when we finally agreed on something. We both agreed on the idea of making my watch a teleporting device that teleports objects from your house to your current location. We first started off by making sketches of how the watch would look and how it works. Then we decided to just leave it the way it was. So then, we started on the poster. It took really long to finish it due to our disagreeing. We were the last ones to finish it. When we finally finished the poster, we were thinking of ideas for the video we were going shoot.

Our invention was the “T-Bolt”. The T-Bolt is a watch that can teleport any object from your house to your current location. How, you ask? Well first you would have to scan the object by pressing and holding the “T” button on the watch. When you do that, a beam should come out of the watch. When the beam comes out, you have to scan the objects you want. The T-Bolt has no limit! You can scan endless object to your watch. Then, when you need the object, you simply press the “T” Button and type in what you need. After you type it in, the object will come out of the other side. It’s that easy!

Jack and I came up with the idea by first brainstorming for any eligible objects around the room. When we finally decided to use my watch, we started making thumbnail sketches for our poster. We drew out examples of what we would draw in our poster. When we finished, with our ideas, we started on our poster. We first started of by drawing the title of our invention on our poster. Me and jack decided that our strategy was “I draw, and he colors.” So I drew the watch and he colored it. When we finished the watch, we started writing a description of the T-Bolt that tells what it does, why you should buy it, and how much it costs.

Next, Jack and I wrote a script for our video that we were going to shoot. Our script was about our characters speaking of the T-Bolt and the problem one of the characters was facing, which was forgetting his wallet. After we finished the script, we started on the storyboard. The storyboard was going to be what was happening in our video. When we shot the video, we faced a lot of problems, like saying our parts wrong. What we did differently was practice a little them shot the video.

What we learned was how to do so many things on the computer, like how to edit the video in Windows Moviemaker. We also had a lot of fun.
