For the group project in the people in our was me, Ashley S, Lexi L, Taylor G, and Dayna G. I think that my team did a good job on our project. When everyone made a sketch we all added a part from everyone’s sketch to the poster. The video and the poster took a while to do, but they turned out very good.
Our group invention was the Mystical Makeup Machine. The Mystical Makeup Machine is a machine that does your makeup in less than 30 seconds. All you do is type in your settings and then you just spray the bottle and the Mystical Makeup Machine does your makeup for you that quickly.
Our group came up with the Mystical Makeup Machine because we wanted our invention to be with something magical, beauty and makeup. So the Mystical Makeup Machine was a perfect name for all three of those topics so we decided to use that name. And we all agreed to use that name. but it took a few days to decide the name, and also took a while to decide what we would be doing in the video for our commercial.
First in creating our project we had to brainstorm ideas for the invention it was hard but then we all said our ideas and then it all came together. The brainstorming was kind of easy but hard because we all didn’t know what to do in the video or poster.
Creating a thumbnail was easy we went over how and what we were going to do in the video commercial. We only had a few, but it described a lot.
Designing our poster was easy. Our poster had the Mystical Makeup Machine in the top in big different letters. The Drawing was a girl winking a us using the Mystical Makeup Machine the color of the Makeup machine was in blue and pink. The invention is a machine that does the does your makeup in less then 30 seconds. And it makes doing makeup easy for a late night out. Its 3 seprate payments of $99.99
In the video the only problem that we had was the bell ringing and the 6th graders yelling and screaming.
Our script was about selling the Mystical Makeup Machine in the mall. It showed how it was used and how to buy it.
The shots we took for the video were close up to the face shots.
We solved the problem by waiting for the bell to ring after 5 mins and then we also solved it by waiting for the kids to stop yelling and going in the bathroom.
What I have learned from this video was to work with good friends and that its not easy.

Abbie- hey Lexi!
Lexi- Hey whats up?
Abbie- Nothing why are you struggling putting on all your makeup when you could just use the Mystical Makeup Machine.
Lexi- Whats the Mystical Makeup Machine?
Abbie- It does your makeup in less than 30 seconds
Lexi- oh! Where do you get this Mystical Makeup Machine?
Abbie- ill show you
Lexi- c’mon
(Lexi and Abbie walk away and then arrive at the place that sells the Mystical Makeup Machine)
Dayna- Hello ladies, welcome to Mystical Makeup Machine how may I help you?
Abbie- Hi im Abbie and this is Lexi, she wants to try the Mystical Makeup Machine
Dayna- ok great!
Lexi- Now what do I do?
Dayna- sit down
Lexi- ok soooo tell me a little bit about this Mystical Makeup Machine
Dayna- so you put your settings on this, such as how thick you want your eyeliner and how much mascara you want, and then you open up the spray bottle and spray It on.
Lexi- oh really that’s so cool. Ok sooo let me just choose my settings
Dayna- ok ready?
Lexi- ok
Dayna- ok 1,2,3
Lexi- woah this looks great! Thanks Mystical Makeup Machine.
