Claymation Project Discussion by Michael, period 2

My claymation is about a fruit race. We started talking about commercials and thought about having a fruit race. We figured out as we went along. Some of it popped in our heads and some we went over and thought about. What triggered them was when we all thought ideas together and combined them. Fifty percent of the time we had trouble getting along but most of the time we worked together and got along. Working together helped us work faster as a team and do more things at a time. We would all listen to each others ideas and work together. We tried to avoid it and work it out. We enjoyed working together and meeting each other and becoming good friends. What we found challenging was sometimes we did not work together we would fight and not get along. What went well was how are claymation turned out to be. I wouldn’t improve anything we did a good job.

    Excite the lethargic,

    Calm the angry,

    Bring hope to the dejected,

    And remorse to the heartless.


    Changing one person,

    Changing one community,

    Changing one nation,

    Changing the world.


    My words make a difference,

    And so does their creator.

    Armed with pens and pencils

    Crayons and markers

    Watercolors, oil pastels, acrylics

    Charcoal and tempera

    I set out on my journey

    Into a different world

    A world where the sky is brilliant shades of blue

    Indigo

    Cobalt

    Cerulean

    All meshing together in a seamless patchwork

    A world where flying horses stampede past

    On wings of flame

    Under a sizzling sun of cornflower yellow

    With the grass like forest green carpet

    Beneath my feet

    A world where logic is overruled by color

    And reason lay pure possibility

    Apples the size of soccer balls

    Hang from giant trees with leaves of polka-dotted pink

    Bubbling rivers in a shade of gold

    Abound with leaping purple goldfish

    A world where time has no jurisdiction

    And limitations make no difference

    A world where I can set my imagination free

    To run wild

    On silver breaths of wind

    I pick up my pencil

    And begin to draw
