Our Claymation was about a WWC Wrestling Championship. We had lots of fun making it because we had a good group and they all participated extremely well. We came up with the idea to make a Wrestling Championship by watching other Claymations. Once we started it began to get harder and harder but after all of our hard work it came out pretty well. We just made it up on the way.
We got our ideas pretty much on the way. Once we got our idea we started to work immediately. It got harder and harder throughout the project but it was really fun. It was challenging because we really didn’t know what we were doing until we figured out that our camera battery was broken.
Our group worked really well together, except for that some people were absent a lot so they couldn’t be there for the most important parts. The most challenging part was trying to get the figures to line up exactly as the day before. The whole thing went pretty well. If I did this again I would’ve drawn where the figures were supposed to go and where the camera was. It was mostly, all around fun!

Our claymation was based on our imagination and creativity. So with our imagination and creativity we came up with making “single ladies by Beyonce – featuring David Archuleta , Chris Brown , Britney Spears, Michael Jackson , Big Bird, Elmo , Cookie Monster on Sesame Street . We came up with this idea by me starting to sing single ladies and ourt5eam member Diamond singing the sesame street theme song and then we just all mixed it and since it’s on sesame street , we would have to add the sesame street characters of coarse . We got our ideas because since it was a music video, every shot we took we put cool dance moves we made our clay characters do. We all worked great as a team, too. Everyone was all good with each other, we all also did our jobs every day and every one worked hard and no one was a weak player. Sometimes we had some problems , though. A few times our claymation characters would fall apart. But, we always solved opur problems by just using the same clay and making new ones or fixing them easily. My favorite part of the claymation project was making the claymation characters with the clay that Mr. Goldstein gave us. I had a lot of fun because I really love art and art projects. The picures part was a little more complicated and still fun. Christie had one of the hardest parts because half the time we didn’t have a tripod so we put a huge amount of clay on the bottom of the camera and we got the rest of the filming done nice and steady.

Our claymation is about three fruits, a blueberry, and a lemon, who all race for the title of the ultimate fruit!
How we came up with this idea, was, we were given a bunch of different colors to use for our project, so we tried to think of what had so many colors in it. Then, our whole group decided to use, fruit. There are hundreds of fruit, with a bunch of different colors.
Then, we slowly began making stuff up as we moved along.
We got some of our ideas from the pro sport of racing, and even swimming and what we’ve seen on TV. We also got some of our ides off of what we’ve seen on the Vodcast. For example, the fruit, as the objects of racing came from both a mix of us seeing fruit fighting on the Vodcast, and just the plain use of our imagination. Andrew and Page were behind the fruit and Michael and I were behind the race.
I found that our group worked very well together, and did not seem to have to many problems. The only things were, every once in a while, our group became a little too individualized, and sometimes we would run out of clay. The benefits, were that, we are all good friends, and we have a good time working together.
The thing I’ve enjoyed the most, would be making the clay, because we were able to use our imaginations a lot on that!
What I sometimes found challenging is constantly moving the clay millimeter by millimeter, every shot, because it gets kind of annoying having to change even the slightest details. But even that was still fun! I also, found it challenging and at the same time fun, to mix the tunes on Garageband, for the back-round music, because it has to be completely in sync with the claymation.
What I thought we did well, was we took really good camera angles, and took the perfect amount of clips for each position of the characters, because everything written and shown in the video is very clear.
If we were to do this project, I think what I would do better, is I think we could have added maybe some dialogue so that it would have been little more interesting.

My claymation is about a skydiver jumping out of an airplane and doing tricks, followed by landing in the water.

I came up with that idea because it would look cool with the shots, since he’s doing the tricks. Well, in my mind I expected it to be wwaaayyyy better. Doing better tricks, more neat, etc. My group figured it out from a starting point. We wrote everything down, then put it in action. It wasn’t much of a brainteaser to figure out that basically all our model could do is tricks while falling.

We worked pretty well. It was good to have the extra help. We didn’t encounter many problems. I just argued a little on the tricks part.

I liked playing with the clay. It was fun to mold and fold. I also liked using the camera, because it was the one with the most steady hands.

What I found challenging was keeping the camera steady at some points, and moving the model every second to make it look ‘good.’

Our teamwork and ideas went really well, I think. Putting it down on paper, that was hard.

I would improve A LOT of things- new tricks, new background, heck, come up with another idea!

Our claymation is about a life of a snake that has a hunger problem and ends up eating a rat and lays eggs. We just randomly thought about a snakes hunger problem, and as days passed by we got better ideas such as the snake getting babies. We got these ideas because it was getting boring so we tried to develop it and we came up with these ideas. We worked together pretty well the benefits is that if you do it alone you wont get so far but if you work together you can complete more in less time. The main problem that we encountered was that we could all not agree on each others ideas, but we just saw what most people liked and went for the idea.
The thing I enjoyed the most was making the snakes and I liked being the camera man. The only thing that was challenging was that we lost the music for our movie and ended up choosing a song.
The thing that went well was the amazing figures of the snakes etc.
I would maybe improve the story because I admit it is kinda boring so I would love to improve it.

Our claymation is about a snake that lays eggs. The snake also eats a rat. The eggs hatch and baby snakes come out.

We came up with our claymaton by just playing with the clay and forming stuff. Once we formed grass and a sky we thought we should make a snake. Then we just built on from that.

Will we worked we started to add on to our first idea. We figured out what would look good on our set and made the snake. Then we thought we shoud make the snake eat something so we made a rat. The benefits of working as a team was that everyone had ideas and we could have a lot of choices to chose from. The only problems we had was sometimes we had arguments on what we should do. We solved these problems by finding our what was the best idea.

I enjoyed working with the clay on this project. It was fun to be creative and use the clay to make different things. My group made the whole set our of clay and it was really fun.

I found putting the camera back in the same spot and getting the same shot difficult. We had to move the camera a lot every day to try to get it back in the same spot every time. We would have to zoom in and out so we could get the same shot. It was also difficult because setting up the camera took about 10 minutes to do so we had less time to work on the claymation.

I think making everything in the claymation move shot by shot went well. The snake looked like an actual snake when it moved. We made the snakes and the rat move good.

I would improve on setting the camera up every day. I would improve this because setting it up every day was difficult and took up a lot of time.

I would like to add that this project took a lot of time and effort. Are claymation got stolen so we had to start all over and do it again. This was challenging to make the same set over again. Besides that the claymation was a fun project.
