Our class was excited to walk through the different habitats at MacArthur Beach State Park. We made many observations and asked a lot of questions.
One student noticed how a leaf was a different color than the rest, and she wondered why the leaf had holes in it. Through inquiry and examination, students were able to guess that insects had eaten through the leaves for food.
Overall we had a wonderful day doing hands-on learning!
