I do not guess that each single student in the world has a passion of essay topic composing! Nevertheless, students ,which don't have writing skills have to use help of professional paper writing service and be happy with a success.

What steps can I take to help our school become a Green School of Excellence or a Green School of Quality?

For the past year, we've had a recycling program in use at our school. This year we've started a club to promote REDUCE and REUSE and step our recycling efforts up.

Thank you!

Tried to share some eco friendly food related links and the system appears to block that sort of thing. There are still some links at the Sharepoint Green Schools site if anyone's interested.

Determining if something is green???

Ask yourself these questions
1. Can it replace something I already use, without the use of chemicals? (Y or N)

2. If I throw it away, will it completely decompose harmlessly? (Y or N)

If you can answer Yes to both of these confidently I would say that the product or item is Green.

I believe most things are Greener not Green? They perform the same function and in most cases reduce the amount of energy their predecessor would have used.

Most Washing machines are still manufactured with plastics, electronics and other parts used in older washing machines. The new parts have been engineered to do it more efficiently. Greener.

A fluorescent Light bulb is Greener, but not Green, The mercury used in the bulb is very toxic when disposed of improperly. Is it greener than a conventional incandescent light bulb? Most definitely.
Green Or Greener?

Unless it was created by nature, I think you might find it took a non-green process to become greener. Too many products are labeled green but merely act in a greener fashion that it’s non-green counterpart.

Green also takes effort.
That same fluorescent light bulb may have performed green for the 10 years you used it, but if you just throw it in the landfill, I would believe all the benefits you gained over the past 10 years were just ruined by polluting the landfill with mercury.
Now that same light bulb disposed of properly and then recycled properly still may only reach the greener status, but effort was required by the owner to make sure that bulb was at best recycled. How it is treated after that may be harder to track but it lifetime performance was greener that a conventional bulb.

If it makes you feel good about using it, and you responsibly dispose of it, then green is as green does.
