I absolutely LOVE...LOVE...LOVE BrainPop! I am an inclusion co-teacher and teach the subjects of Biology and Integrated Science I. I love the fact that they are short and to the point. We utilize the quizzes at the end as fun "games" to review. I just told a colleague the other day that I want to make a whole bunch of t-shirts to match Tim and Moby's -- you notice they wear a shirt to match every topic. Good stuff!

Thanks for this great article and the resources. Do you know how often your teachers had the students access BrainPOP activities each week? That would be interesting to promote as well. Thanks,

I know from experience that BrainPops inhance student learning, but it is great to see research that backs this up. BrainPops multimedia format takes some of the burden off of teachers by presenting the facts in ways that a teacher cannot.

My student are not always motivated to read and learn from their Civics book, but are eager to learn the same information with Tim and Moby. BrainPops motivate learners because they are fun. When my students have computer time, they ask if they can do BrainPops.

BrainPops make the subject matter come alive. They are short, to the point, come with ready made activity sheets and address all the Civics topics. My students are always eager to take the quiz.
