Third Grade News

All of our students are busy engaging in learning new things every day. Please ensure that your child is completing his/her homework assignments every night. Homework is a reinforcement of the learning that takes place during the school day. Thank you for your continued support. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

SAI Introduction with Mrs. Ventriglio

The goal of the Supplemental Academic Instruction (SAI) program is for each student served to achieve grade level performance in reading. SAI students receive small group instruction for thirty minutes and this instruction is supplemental to the students’ core ninety minute reading block. The Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) system, which is a research-based system, provides materials and resources that meet the needs of all SAI students.

Off To A Great Start

We have had a great beginning to a new school year.  Ms. Dunn, Mrs. Filosa, Mrs. Janiszewski, and Mr. Mugerian work together to have our third graders busy engaging in meaningful learning experiences. Please reinforce the learning at home by ensuring that your child completes his/her homework on a daily basis.  In looking ahead, schools will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 7th. We also have our Open House/Curriculum Night from 6:00-8:00 on September 9th. We look forward to an awesome year and to building a partnership with you.
